Bardole Christmas – Jason, Allison, Levi, Kate and Chase Bardole arrived Friday, Dec. 20, at the Roy Bardole home for Christmas. Saturday Christmas was celebrated with all the family.
Roy and Phyllis Bardole hosted their family members including Pete, Yvette, Arthur, Avery and Aden Bardole from Jefferson; Tim and Lori Bardole from Rippey; Cassandra Bardole and Gabe Bardole from Jefferson, and Schyler, Lauren, Adam, and Luke Bardole from Churdan, and the Jason Bardole family from Wauwatosa, WI.
It was warm enough to be outside and they played hard all day. The group opened gifts close to noon, had sandwiches, and visited while the youngsters were outside. The family ordered pizza for supper.
Sunday everyone came back to eat dinner and continue the activities outside and visiting inside. They finished off the evening with fireworks, a light supper, and popcorn.
Jason’s family left for home Monday, Dec. 23, for Christmas at home in Wisconsin.
Roy and Phyllis noted, “It is so rewarding for us to be able to have 21 family members come together. “
AZ Christmas – Christmas in Arizona has been lively, to say the least. The days have flown by. The gifts have been played with and so far none have been broken or lost. A new bike is in the corner, waiting for a sunny afternoon to ride. The sun has been absent this trip, for some reason.
Jean has been trying to learn the Ninjago LEGO characters. “Somehow my 6-year old grandson has decided I have too much ‘clutter’ in my head to remember all the names. He doesn’t mind sharing my age with his teachers and why I can’t seem to remember those important details in the lives of the characters.”
We have seen Frozen 2 and visited LEGO Land, which even impressed the adults. Too soon, the years are flying by. These kids have joined their older cousins, receiving gift cards and will be thrilled to go shopping! That should be an adventure!
Happy and Healthy New Year to all! ~ Jean Borgeson
